I'm an ICT Engineer who enjoys digging into technical challenges and finding practical solutions. My experience comes from working with some of Denmark's largest companies on projects ranging from cloud infrastructure to application development. My approach is to build well-structured and reliable solutions that solve the problem at hand, effectively and for the long term.

Cloud & DevOps
I can help your company migrate to and manage applications in the cloud. I have hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), Kubernetes orchestration, and setting up CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to make your deployment process smoother and more reliable.
Web & Mobile App Development
I also build modern, interactive web and hybrid mobile applications using frameworks like Ionic and Angular with backend services like Firebase (and Google Cloud Platform).
I have built www.horsensskakforening.dk with Angular and Firebase. This is a website for a chess club. It contains a blog with chess news, and an AI-driven Content Management System (CMS) for the board members to manage the website.
Technical Analysis & Prototyping
Unsure if a new technology is the right fit? I can help research and build a Proof of Concept (PoC) to test its viability for your business. This is a great way to validate technical choices before committing to a large project, like I did when investigating a single-codebase mobile app strategy.
AI & Data Support
I can support data science teams by preparing and annotating image data for computer vision models. I'm proficient with Python's scientific packages (NumPy, Pandas) and tools like LabelMe.
Projects
Kubernetes Infrastructure Migration
Client: Large Danish Corporation (confidential)
Challenge: The company faced a critical business risk, as their entire application landscape ran on an unsupported Kubernetes cluster. A full migration to a new, modern cluster was necessary.
My Role: Working as a consultant on the infrastructure team, my role focused on the practical execution of the migration. This involved creating Helm Charts for applications, setting up deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps, and using Docker for containerization. A key part of the job was also supporting the organization's other development teams during their transition.

Cross-Platform Mobile App Strategy
Client: Large Danish Corporation (confidential)
Challenge: Maintaining separate native codebases for iOS and Android was slow and expensive. The company wanted to know if a hybrid, single-codebase solution was a realistic alternative.
My Role: I was tasked with a 2-month technical investigation. I built a Proof of Concept using Angular, Ionic, and Capacitor to test if it could handle their key requirements, including GPS, native maps, QR code scanning, and biometric login.

Computer Vision for AI
Client: Large Danish Corporation (confidential)
Challenge: A new AI model for computer vision required a large and accurately labeled dataset of images for training.
My Role: I worked on and off with the AI team for about two years. My main responsibility was annotating images with the LabelMe tool. I also developed Python scripts with NumPy and Pandas to help process and validate the data before it was used for training.

[31 January, 2023] In the consulting company kaastrup|andersen, we hired Morten Fyhn Beuchert to solve a technology clarification task for one of our customers.
The collaboration has been successful from start to finish. The task that Morten solved was about investigating whether, for the customer, a new technology stack could be used instead of the technology the customer uses today.
